Hello.....

I am starting this blog to help to motivate myself even more on this weight loss journey. I started just after Christmas 2009 and I know it will be a long journey but one I lknow will be worth it in the end. This has been a long time coming....

Monday Already

The weekend has flown by as usual, and once again it's Monday. I definately have the Monday blues today and have not shook out of it at all!

The weekend was lovely, Friday night was very nice and the food was very very tasty! Whitby was jam packed full as we had forgotten it was half term, had to fight for a car parking space. Scarborough was eerily quiet though. We managed to get parked right on the road side for 3 hours free parking!! Result lol, we only had to run accross the road to the mecca that is the Harbor Bar ice cream parlour. I did only manage a little one, which was good as we went to "Ask" for tea. I has never been there before and I'd definately go back again. We did get glared at a little bit though as we hadn't booked and we were only in our jeans (unlike the lady at the side of us who looked like she just had a long t-shirt on!!), but it was very very scrummy. Mr B encouraged me to stray off points a little and to choose something a little bit naughty. I did point everything though and came in only 7 points over my daily points. I had saved up during the week so I did ok really :)

Sunday was lovely and relaxed apart from a trip to the super market. We only went for bread and milk and ended up spending £50!!!! It was his fault honest lol.

Back on the subject of WW, i have lost 0.5lb this week. It's only a small loss but it's a loss all the same. It's definately going in the right direction!!

Fingers crossed for everyone's weigh in's this week,
Lex xx

  1. Well done on still losing even after your trip out - especially to Ask. I have taken to having the Penne del Giardino when there - it's only 5 points, I think, but it's never what I really want. :( I can imagine Whitby being busy, but Scarborough has always been a bit of a ghost town when we visited. Well past its heydey now.
