Hello.....

I am starting this blog to help to motivate myself even more on this weight loss journey. I started just after Christmas 2009 and I know it will be a long journey but one I lknow will be worth it in the end. This has been a long time coming....

Busy Little Bee...

It's soon come round to Tuesday! As the title suggests, I have been a busy little bee even if I do say so myself!

Important things first, I have lost 2lbs this week which now takes me to 17 st 2.75 lbs. I have to say that the 3/4 of a lb is bugging me to death! I think I'd rather my scales would either round it up or down to the nearest lb!! lol.

I was very impressed with myself over the weekend, I had bought some smaller jeans the other week and I wore them when we went out on Saturday night :) I felt very smug indeed!

Work is manic so far this week which is good as it means I'm not tempted to give in to the bordom picking which I used to have the habit of doing. Not doing too well with handling stress at the mo, lots of things happening that are very much out of my controll and not coping well with them.

Looking forward to tomorrow's post coming as I have ordered some scrummy things from a website called "graze". They do lots of little snacks and fruit that gets delivered in a box, yummy yummy!

Blink and you've missed it!

Well it's been a very busy few days both at work and at home. Lots and lots of stuff to keep me out of mischief in both areas. Had a really good session in the gym on Monday night and back there again tonight, really getting into the swing of it now. I never thought I'd EVER utter the words Ienjoy the gym" but I have said it a couple of times now.

Tuesday was manic before even reaching work. Mr B was in London all day and had to catch a stupid o'clock train, so like the loving GF that I am I dropped him off and went into work early. Then it was all manor of boring stuff like work, dentist and washing and ironing and then all of a sudden it was 8pm and time to collect Mr B!

Wednesday was quite an emotional day. Mum has had bad asthma for years and has always had chest infections, but this last year her chest has got worse and worse. The Dr couldn't do anymore for her so she got refered to a specialist and her appointment was yesterday afternoon. I ended up taking her as Dad is away at the mo. Her depression is very bad at the mo too so she was worked up, and then worked up cos dad wasn't there and then worked up because of even more snow, it just got a bit much for her. I was trying my best to calm her down but it ended up draining me out too. Not that I ever begrudge helping Mum out at all, it just someimes gets on top of me too.

Sorry about that, just had to spill it all out.

Anyway, off to the gym tonight and then collecting my youngest sister for the weekend! I love having her to stay over, she's so much fun. She's a sandwhich short of a picnic which makes for great comments such as her getting the words to a famous christmas carol wrong. Join in everyone...... "Hank the hairy angel sing, glory to the new born king!"

Sorry once again for the rant

Monday Already

The weekend has flown by as usual, and once again it's Monday. I definately have the Monday blues today and have not shook out of it at all!

The weekend was lovely, Friday night was very nice and the food was very very tasty! Whitby was jam packed full as we had forgotten it was half term, had to fight for a car parking space. Scarborough was eerily quiet though. We managed to get parked right on the road side for 3 hours free parking!! Result lol, we only had to run accross the road to the mecca that is the Harbor Bar ice cream parlour. I did only manage a little one, which was good as we went to "Ask" for tea. I has never been there before and I'd definately go back again. We did get glared at a little bit though as we hadn't booked and we were only in our jeans (unlike the lady at the side of us who looked like she just had a long t-shirt on!!), but it was very very scrummy. Mr B encouraged me to stray off points a little and to choose something a little bit naughty. I did point everything though and came in only 7 points over my daily points. I had saved up during the week so I did ok really :)

Sunday was lovely and relaxed apart from a trip to the super market. We only went for bread and milk and ended up spending £50!!!! It was his fault honest lol.

Back on the subject of WW, i have lost 0.5lb this week. It's only a small loss but it's a loss all the same. It's definately going in the right direction!!

Fingers crossed for everyone's weigh in's this week,

That Friday Feeling.....

The weekend will be here very soon for me, and what a weekend we have got planned! Off out for an Indian for tea to celebrate Mum's birthday. Really looking forward to seeing my family, It doesn't seem like two mins since we were celebrating her 50th last year! I'm very lucky to be close to my family so its always nice to get together properly every so often.

I have done well with saving a few points here and there this week so I won't feel too bad for indulging tonight. The saved points will also come in handy tomorrow at the sea side! We're celebrating valentines a day early with a trip to Whitby/Scarborough and a visit to the harbour bar for an ice cream. Saying that, I really have lost my sweet tooth in recent weeks so I might only manage a small one. I think a nice walk along the front will help us to work it off after wards though.
Feeling like I have eaten lots and lots today but I've looked on my tracker and I really haven't. When I have had something it's been fruit, ryvita's or a bag of the most delicious 1 point snacks that I have found. They're called velvet crunch and are a bit like snack a jacks only less card boardy! Very yummy!

I shall leave you now, I have been quite naughty and written this post at work as I have been kicked off all the systems that I need to be able to use this afternoon. The count down to 3pm has begun, then it's a quick drive home and cement mixer on for the make up to make myself look half human after an evil busy day!

Bonjour!

Hiya, this is my first time blogging so I hope I soon get into it and everyone forgives my beginers mistakes! I started on weight watchers the week in between christmas and new year 2009. Some may say that it was a silly week to start but I thought it was as good a time as any!

I have always been a big girl, the token fat one of my mates if you like. Although none of them have ever said any thing about my weight. I was always the one that boys were friends with but never went out with, you know that kind of thing. I have a lovely supportive man in my life now though which is brilliant (and so is he) :)

Any way, I decided that enough was enough and that I didn't want to wear a size 20/22 any longer so here I am. So far I have lost a stone which takes me to 17st 6 lb. 18st 6lb was (obviously!) my starting weight which is the heaviest I have ever been, and I'm certainly not proud of it. One of my first little goals is to get in to a skirt that my freind gave me the other day and to fit into a dress that I love that I've only worn twice since I bought it 6 years ago!!!!
